Yesterday my three year old son and I were playing when suddenly I noticed  his front teeth has become light brown in color,I thought it is tartar/plaque and decided to visit dentist.Then on my husband's advice I applied some alum powder mixed with a pinch of baking soda on my son's teeth and the results were amazing,within few minutes that brown deposit on his teeth was gone. Another incident happened with me , I had recently got my molar extracted , as it was severely damaged due to plaque / tarter. After few days of surgery , My gum was filled with pus even after eating antibiotic and i was crying with pain. When I told my husband to go to doctor , He said we will go after 15-20 minutes and told me to apply alum powder and little bit baking soda along with pinch of rock salt. I salivated for some time, when I rinsed and cleaned teeth There was no pus and pain left. So for sure there cant be any better medicine for tooth infections than alum powder. Benefits of alum

Alum for gums and cavities

Alum's antiseptic properties enables it to fight with the tooth decay,swollen gum,bleeding gums and cavities. Due to its excellent astringent properties alum when applied on swollen gums reduces inflammation and pain caused by it.Alum can be treated as a mouth wash to strengthens the gums.

How to use:If you suffering from tooth pain,take a grain of alum and wrap it in cotton ball ,place it in the affected area for quick relief.

Mix five parts alum powder, three parts black pepper powder, two parts rock salt powder and one part turmeric root powder and use for massaging your gums.

Treats Cranker Sores 

Alum is antibacterial in nature, this salt fights infections caused by bacteria.So if you have any cranker sores it just removes moisture from it and makes it dry.This burns a little but at the end you get a relief from the irritating sores.Alum powder can also be used for the mouth sores.

How to use:Just apply alum powder on the sore ,do not swallow the saliva.Sores will be healed with in a night.

Treats Eye Abscess

Alum is a an effective remedy to treat eye abscess.Eye Abscess may give rise to puffy mass ,packed with pus.Abscess is caused by inflammation of hair follicles, injuries, punctures and due to blockage of sebaceous glands and sweat. This eye infection cant be treated without removing the pus from it.Alum burst that pus on the same day and heals the eye.

How to use:Rub the alum on the sandalwood stone with little water to form the paste.Rub it hard as the paste doesn't comes easily.Once the paste forms ,apply it on affected area.This burns at first but applying it 2-3 times heals the eyes.

Alum for Shaving cuts

Alum works as a after shaving treatment.Its antiseptic properties heals the minor cuts or bruises that happen while shaving.

How to use:Apply alum block after shaving on the wet face for few seconds.Wash it off or you can let it sink inside the skin.

Alum as deodrant

Alum acts as a anti microbial deodorant that kills bacteria which is responsible for bad odur.

How to use:Take a alum block and dissolve in it the water.bath with this water but do not rinse your hair with this water.You will get the desired results.

Alum for water Purification

Alum can use to clean the muddy water.If you are going for campaigning you can take an alum block with you to treat the muddy water.Drop 1gm of powdered alum in the water,you will se mud particles settling down and clean water comes up.

Alum for wrinkles and pimples

Alum can be used for winkles treatment.Alum when applied gives flexibility and tightens the skin.Acne responds to alum very well thus providing a glowing and healthy skin.

How to use:Take a alum block ,wet it in water and rub it gently on your damp face for few seconds.After applying wash the face and apply moisturizer.

You can also apply face pack with egg white,alum powder and fuller's earth(multani mitti)  for treating acne.

Alum removes negative energy

Alum is often used by the people to get rid of negative energy.People usually hang the alum stone outside their house to keep the negative energy away.You can use alum for cleaning aura of the body.
