Super Fast Home Remedies for Weight Loss


Today obesity has become one of the major health issue globally.A person becomes obese or overweight when he/she starts consuming more calories particularly fatty and sugary foods rather than burning it off through physical activities.The excess energy is stored in the body in the form of fat which starts creating negative effects on health.

So here I am posting few tried and tested home remedies for quick weight loss.After delivering a healthy baby son three years back, I  too became overweight.For first three months I was eating as per my mother in law's diet to rebuild my strength and repair my muscles. Panjeree and whole wheat lodoos (yummmy!!!!)made in desi ghee were part of my diet and my favorite which I wasn't able to resist.This actually played a vital role in making me overweight. After three months I decided to follow my mother's simple home remedies to shed of the excess weight.These tips worked for me and I lost 6 kg in 25 days and came to my prior figure within 2 months. So here I am sharing the same tips with you guys.Hope you will like these simple remedies and adapt the same in your daily routine.


DRINK WARM WATER




Regularly drinking warm water in the morning can helps us in shedding those extra kilos.Warm water increases body temperature, which in turn increases the metabolic rate. The rise in metabolic rate allows the body to burn more calories and thus reduces weight.Warm water in the morning is beneficial for constipation,indigestion and for improving blood circulation.

Lemon and Honey


Having lemon and honey with lukewarm water in the morning is an effective remedy for weight loss.Honey contains nutrients,vitamins , minerals which are beneficial for the proper functioning of the body.Honey has the capacity to mobilize the fat stored in the body.When this stored fat is burnt to provide energy for performing daily activities,there will be a gradual decrease in the weight and relief from obesity.Lemons are high in pectin fiber and low in calories which promotes less food cravings.The warm water along with honey and lemon brings alkaline atmosphere in stomach and reduces weight.

How to use :Take one glass of warm water.Add one teaspoon honey and squeeze some drops of lemon in it.Drink it empty stomach in the morning to boast metabolism rate.

Cumin Seeds




For ages cumin seeds commonly know as jeera has been one of the main spices of our Indian food.Cumin seeds not only heal stomach problems but also helps in weight loss.These tiny little seeds are full of nutritional values like phosphorous,magnesium,calcium,vitamin A ,vitamin C which enhances metabolism and thus reduces weight.

How to use:Add a teaspoon of cumin seeds to a glass of water and bring it to a boil. Once the water turns brown, turn off the gas and cover the vessel. Allow the decoction to cool down to room temperature. Drink this tea three times a day to improve digestion and to help resolve minor stomach aches. 
You can also mix one teaspoon of cumin powder with some black salt in plain yogurt and have it daily.


Aloe vera juice 





Aloe vera has gained popularity in recent years owing to its magical contribution towards our skin, hair and body .This gel like plant is packed with vitamin A, B1, B2, B6, B12, C, E,folic acid and niacin all of which helps in  burning calories and reduces body fat.Aloe vera increases the metabolism and reduces the Body Mass Index(BMI) by converting the carbohydrates and fat stored in the body into energy.

How to use:Aloe vera and fruit juice: Take the gel out from the aloe vera plant with he help of spoon  and mix it with your favorite juice.Drink ½ cup in the morning and 15 minutes before each meal.Keep drinking the juice for 1-2 weeks.


Aloe vera with lemon :Aloe vera gel can be mixed with lemon juice, and water with your choice of sweetener and stir 2-3 minutes.Drink regularly to encourage weight loss.

Aloe vera with honey :Add one tablespoon honey in aloe vera juice.Stir it well and drink daily .

Aloe vera with water:Mix 1-2 tablespoon of aloe vera juice with water.Drink at least one a day to burn excess fat.

Aloe vera and smoothie: Take aloe vera gel from the plant.Add baby spinach beetroot,coriander,parsley, carrots in the mixer.Blend until smooth. Consume every morning and evening.


Giloy




Giloy also know was Guduci is an herbal plant that is mostly available in tropical regions of  India,Sri Lanka and Myanmar.This herbal plant acts as a medicine for various health problems like flu,cold, hepatitis,jaundice, gout, skin disorders among many others.Now a days this has become a popular remedy for weight loss,even the health specialists are recommending the use of giloy due to the various side effects of weight loss drugs available in the market. Giloy is very effective in enhancing the metabolism thereby eliminating the accumulation of fat in the body.

Giloy should be used in combination with other herbal extracts like aloe vera ,amla ,shilajit to avail the maximum benefit.Other dietary ingredients can also be added like black pepper,garlic,ginger to prepare a effective remedy.

How to use it:Ready made giloy juices are available in the market but if you want to have home made giloy juice,cut 6-7 inches giloy stem from the giloy plant.Crush the giloy stem properly and boil it in the water for 6-7 minutes.Sieve it and drink the healthy giloy juice.


Gooseberry



Indian Gooseberry also know as amla is a rich source of vitamin C.This fruit is loaded with nutrients and antioxidants.Gooseberry treats number of ailments , skin disorders ,hair problems.It is also one of the powerful remedy for weight loss.



Obesity is often caused by the slow process of metabolism in the body. Amla juice flushes out the toxins accumulated in the body.These toxins obstruct the process of digestion. Amla pushes these toxins out from the body and ensuring that the food is digested properly, all the nutrients from the food are absorbed in the body and the waste is expelled.


Amla also helps in hydrating the body and keeps you full for a longer time.


How to use: Amla can be taken in dried form or in the liquid form .Ready made amla juices are available in the market .You can also extract the pure amla juice by taking few amla fruits and cutting them into smaller pieces and removing the seeds from it.Now put the small pieces of amla in the blender ,pour some water in it and blend it well to have thick consistency.Use a cloth or sieve to separate the pulp from the juice.You can keep it refrigerate for 2 weeks.you can mix this amla juice with honey or salt or cardamon to make the juice tastier.


Cucumber

Cucumber is 90%water and helps in breaking fat cells .So eat lots of cucumber in the form of salad for weight loss.

Tomatoes

Tomatoes are rich source of vitamins,fiber and minerals.Tomatoes contains antioxidant lycopene which protects from heart diseases,cancer, osteoporosis, arthritis and more.Tomatoes are low in fat and carbohydrates so if you are cutting down on fats ,carbs or both ,tomatoes are the perfect choice.Tomatoes are low in calories ,high in fibre which can keep you away from food cravings and can help you in weight loss.


Apple Cider Vinegar


Apple cider vinegar remedy is recommended by every diet specialist today. Consuming a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar every day before going to bed is good to lose weight.The tartaric acid present in the vinegar will burn body fat while you sleep.


Green Tea


Green tea is widely known remedy for weight loss.Green tea contains epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG) which limits fat absorption and enhances the body's capacity to use fat for producing energy to carry out various functions.This in turn prevents weight gain and obesity.Green tea is loaded with nutrients and essential minerals for the body like zinc, selenium and chromium which are beneficial for maintaining overall health. Drinking 3 to4 cups of green tea on a daily basis is effective in fighting obesity.


Exercise and yoga



Combing physical activity with healthy diet is a more effective way of reducing weight. Daily exercise or walk for 45 minutes is recommended by every dietician or doctor to maintain body weight.Yoga also acts as effective weigh loss solution.There are different asanas that you can do at home for burning the extra fat from the body.Yoga lowers the stress level hormones and increases the insulin sensitivity that signals the burning of fat into energy rather than storing it.
