Most of us go to temple, church, mosque or Gurudwara and we feel inner peace and seek blessings there. Some ATHEIST people just visit temples for the beauty of place and peace.

But Have you ever thought that There are many scientific benefits of visiting and spending time in the sacred places and temples.

In old times,  A compass was used to find the place where the temple should be built by a committee. Once they approve only then temples were allowed to build at those places.

Why, Because There are some places on earth where magnetic flux density is found higher than other places, where the positive energy is available abundantly from the the magnetic and electric wave conveyances of north/south post push. The idol is placed in the center of the temple, known as “Garbhagriha” or “Moolasthanam”. The structure of the temple is built after the idol has been placed in a high positive wave centric place.

Other than the place, There are copper or other metallic plates buried under the main area to increase positive energy flow. These metallic plates absorbs magnetic waves and radiate them in surrouding areas. So doing "Parikrama" (revolving around temple in clockwise direction) gets your body aura clean and energizes the body. Thats why on festival seasons women are suggested to wear gold jewels in asian countries.

You are not allowed to go into the temple with you footwear, footwear does not let the circuit complete with the earth and your body is less likely to absorb energy. Another reason is shoes  are used everywhere hence they tend to get all the impurities like dirt, germs etc which spoil the pure environment of the temple and is the source of negative energy. Walking bare foot is also type of acupressure.

Folding hands and bowing in front of Idol also helps body to relax. you should touch your thumbs on centre of forehead or on centre of chest to get the blessings from god, scientifically that means energy flow through body and cleansing of body aura.

Ringing the bell at entrance of  temple also has significant benefits. These bells are not made out of ordinary metal, but a  whole variety of them, including cadmium, lead, copper, zinc, nickel,  chromium and manganese. it produces such a distinct sound at 528 hz frequency that it can create a harmony between your left and right  brains. The moment you ring that bell, it produces sharp but lasting  sound vibration which lasts for minimum of seven seconds in echo mode —  long enough to touch your seven healing centers (or chakras) in your  body.  It also kills the bad bacterias in the surroundings. Same  is the case with the sound of shankh (shell), They both produces sound of om.

Touching the idol foot has also energy flow advantage also. As the Idol statue is made of marble or metal and when we touch it with bare foot, it  flows the energy through our body and rest you know what it does to our body.

Charnamrit (water from copper bowl with holy basil leaves in it) helps to fight with the common cold, influenza ("the flu"), H1N1 (swine) flu, diabetes, asthma, bronchitis, earache, headache, stomach upset, heart disease, fever, viral hepatitis, malaria, stress, and tuberculosis. Holy basil has antibacterial, antiviral, antifungal, anti-inflammatory, analgesic (a painkiller) properties and is high in anti-oxidants.In Copper bowl bacterias can not grow and dies in very short time as compared to other metals and it completes our copper deficiency.

So do not think much and keep going to temple for all these benefits even if you are ATHEIST.
